As I was saying Jamie is a thief, liar, and a bragger.  He has 2 children never paid child support for or has he ever really been a father to either child.  His parents bail him out of everything and do everything for him.  Gary and Theresa also have a daughter Bridget who is married and has 3 kids.  Theresa seems like she always has the kids.  Anyway Jamie doesn't have any friends basically Marty is the only one that will run around with him.  Marty seems to be a little slow and nothing seems to ever bother him.  So Jamie got Marty to move here by all of us problem is Marty only talks to his father (my husband) when he wants or needs something.  Yes I do feel that we are being used.  Especially when we live on what we recieve and don't do much extra or by anything special. Yet Marty, Jamie, and Sonia get drunk at least 5 times a week.  To be quit honest they are an embarrassment.  It seems like anything good happens good to us they are there to suck the life out of us and take everything from us.

and so it goes

Right now I am battling cancer in my thyroid.  My thyroid has been removed but the cancer was left in.  So I am searching for options that I may have.  I have no insurance until April when I will get medicare.  I had open heart surgery, thyroid surgery, and a hernia removal all within a matter of months.  Everything was going alright until recently when I was told that cancer cells where in my blood work.  Floyd and I have talked about what we need also I have talked to Ray and Linda as we are all very close. So I will get a hold of Cancer of America to see what I can do.  I am also a diabetic and have that to deal with each day some are better than others.  With all this going on I need to mention that there is another household in the mix.  Floyd has a son from his first marriage.  Marty and Sonia Sonia is as bright as a doorknob.  Her personality is something left to be desired.  She never ask for anything always demands.  Thinks of herself as a diva doesn't do a thing and runs Marty into the ground.  Sonia is also a diabetic, psychotic, and a drunk.  So she is good about providing drama here on the hill.  They run around with Jamie (Gary and Theresa's son). I would like to mention Marty is 45 years old and Jamie is 35 years old.  Jamie is a bragger he owns nothing Mom and Dad provide everything for him.  He gets in trouble Mom and Dad bail him out and pay everything.  Jamie is what we call a legend in his mind.

Background

We moved to Texas August 2004.  My Mother-in-law had passed away in March that year so we decided we wanted to live closer to family.  I cried all the way from Phoenix, Arizona to El Paso, Texas as I was leaving my youngest son and daughter-in-law and twin grandsons behind.  We moved out into the country in East Texas. There's like a total of  5 acres together.  My husband Floyd and I have 1 acre and next to us on the left side is Ray and Linda (Floyd's brother).  On the right side of us is Mike who is Theresa's brother. Behind us lives Gary and Theresa (Floyd's brother). Gary has 2 acres the rest of us all have 1.  It was quite a change living here and getting use to everything.  I was very lucky to meet some awesome people that have stood by me these last 6 years living here.  See Gary and Theresa have always lived around family so naturally Linda and I are the outsiders.  So much has happened here and there has been some real resentment among us all at different times.   Everyone knows when you go to Walmart and wants to know what you brought. I am on Disability it took me 4 years to get it and I'm also Bi-Polar so I thought I would give myself a little something to do and a place to vent about life here.
